It’s all about healthy food! It doesn’t matter if you portions are small if the food isn’t healthy. Veggies, fruit, whole-wheat, fish, turkey, and the like is what you’re after. Stick to a 1200 calorie diet.
And mix it up. If you do the same thing for exercise and food over and over again, your body is going to get used to it and you’ll plateau. Try zumba. Or kickboxing. Eat a turkey burger one night and a chicken breast the next.
But remember to drink a lot of water and STAY POSITIVE! The more you stress about losing weight, the more your body holds in the stress and prevents you from losing weight.
Just keep trying. If you are having trouble staying motivated, give yourself an incentive. And just continue to power through. It will happen eventually if you keep working hard. :D
DON’T GIVE UP!
I whenever I feel like I’m going to quit, I just think about all the things that will be easier when I’ve lost weight. Like walking up stairs or hanging out with your thin friends. And imagine the clothes you will be able to rock!
Just try to think positively, and reward yourself. :D
It is hard for us! I don’t know why exactly, and I know it’s hard for everyone, but it seems particularly hard for us. Our bodies are just so compact.
Honestly, just change up your routine to kick start your plateau. Instead of jogging, try dancing. Or something along those lines. Try using different muscles than you have been.
Or eliminate a food. Like stop drinking diet soda, or anything else besides water. Or eat more veggies and less fruit. Just something to change your routine, even if it’s worked so far.
Also, you can start making meal replacement shakes, instead of a meal—even if it’s just once or twice a week.
I recommend change.
